Market Value: Continuous Growth Post-Loan Return

The Ghanaian winger’s transfer value began to rise in the 2020/2021 season when he established himself in Bristol City F.C.’s lineup. Playing 50 matches across all competitions, Semenyo registered 12 assists, leading to a more than 2.5-fold increase in his transfer sum.

Despite missing most of the first half of the 2021/2022 season, Semenyo’s performance peaked, with eight goals and 12 assists, nearly doubling his market value. His swift adaptation at AFC Bournemouth resulted in a fourfold increase in his transfer value, reaching its peak. Currently, Transfermarkt values Antoine Semenyo at €10 million, placing him eighth among the most expensive Ghanaian footballers and in the top ten among all players at the English club.

International Achievements

Antoine Semenyo

Born in England, Antoine Semenyo made his debut for the Ghanaian national team in the summer of 2022. Alongside the national team, the winger participated in two major tournaments: the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the Africa Cup of Nations. However, Ghana failed to advance beyond the group stage in both competitions. Semenyo has played 17 matches for the national team, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Football and Financial Prospects

In the 2023/2024 season, Antoine Semenyo continues to vie for a permanent place in the starting lineup, yet to complete a full match for the English club. Nevertheless, the winger significantly influences AFC Bournemouth’s results, already scoring four goals and providing two assists in the EPL. If Semenyo continues to receive regular playing time, there is a likelihood that he will attract interest from stronger clubs and secure a more lucrative contract.
