Spanish side SD Ponferradina have announced the transfer of Nigerian midfielder James Igbekeme, as per club’s official website.ย
The 28-year-old central midfielder has signed the deal until 2025 for an undisclosed fee moving from Real Zaragoza.ย
“My agent told me about the clubโs interest, and two days later Josรฉ (Sietes) called me. I think itโs a good opportunity for me, and thatโs why Iโm here. From the first day, all my teammates have treated me very well, and I am happy both with them and with the entire coaching staff”, – Igbekeme said upon arrival.
