Juventus have made Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye one of their leading transfer targets after Udinese indicated they would consider selling the 26-year-old if their valuation is met this summer, according to Footy-Africa.
The Turin club are searching for a new first-choice goalkeeper ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and have stepped up their interest in Okoye after their pursuit of Argentina international Emiliano MartΓnez became increasingly complicated.
Juventus have made concrete enquiries over the Nigeria international, although the goalkeeper has yet to decide whether he is ready to leave Udinese for the Serie A giants. A source close to the player said Udinese remain in control of negotiations and will only approve a transfer if their financial demands are satisfied.
While Okoye’s current market value is estimated at around β¬15 million, the Friuli club are expected to seek a considerably higher fee. The former Watford goalkeeper remains under contract until 2028, strengthening Udinese’s negotiating position.

Juventus are not alone in tracking the Nigerian shot-stopper. Serie A rivals Torino and Inter Milan are also monitoring his situation, while Turkish side BeΕiktaΕ have been linked with a potential move. However, a switch to the SΓΌper Lig is not currently viewed as the most likely outcome.
Okoye has emerged as one of Serie A’s standout goalkeepers since joining Udinese, producing an impressive 2025-26 campaign that significantly boosted his transfer value.
The Nigerian kept 10 clean sheets in 30 league appearances last season, establishing himself as one of the division’s most consistent performers and attracting attention from clubs competing at the highest level of European football.
With Juventus now firmly in the race and Udinese prepared to negotiate under the right conditions, Okoye’s future is expected to be one of the key goalkeeper transfer stories to watch during the summer window.
