However, reports from The Guardian suggest that Manchester United is keenly interested in securing Guirassy’s services, given that his contract with Stuttgart includes a release clause of just โฌ17.5 million.
The Red Devils are said to have engaged in talks with the player’s representatives to explore the possibility of a January transfer. This interest has been sparked by Rasmus Hojlund’s challenging start to his Premier League career, where he has yet to register a goal or assist.
Serhou Guirassy could offer a more seasoned option to complement Hojlund’s efforts on the field. However, there is a potential hurdle to any immediate move, as the Guinean forward is expected to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in January, which could see him absent from club duties for approximately a month.
