The Iraqi club has successfully acquired the services of former AshGold and Kotoko midfielder, Abdul Latif Anabila, Ghana Soccernet reports.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian player, known for clinching the Most Promising Star award in the Ghana Premier League back in 2015, joins the Iraqi club as a free agent after parting ways with Bechem United at the end of last season. However his current market value according to Transfermarkt estimates at €25,000.
Anabila, whose football journey includes impressive stints at New Edubiase FC, Bechem United SC, and Tunisian powerhouse Club Africain, has penned a permanent deal with the Western Deers.
His arrival is anticipated to significantly bolster the midfield dynamics of Al-Ramadi, bringing both experience and a proven track record from the Ghanaian football scene.
With an impressive tally of 81 appearances in the Ghana Premier League, Anabila’s expertise and skill set are expected to be pivotal for Al-Ramadi as they aim for ascension to the top tier of Iraqi football.
