The English club has announced the acquisition of a talented Ghanaian wing-back Jordi Osei-Tutu on an initial two-year contract via their official website.
The 25-year-old defender joins the club from German VfL Bochum for an undisclosed fee, marking Wanderers’ seventh addition of the summer. According to Transfermarkt the playerβs current value estimates at β¬500,000.Β
Osei-Tutu began his professional career with Arsenal’s academy in 2015. Known for his tenacity and attacking prowess, he gained valuable experience through loan spells at Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest, and VfL Bochum, where he made a significant impact with five goals and three assists in 22 appearances during the 2019-20 season.
His career also includes a successful loan period at Rotherham United, where he played a crucial role in their promotion to League One and scored a dramatic 96th-minute equalizer at Wembley in the Papa Johns Trophy final.
Most recently, Osei-Tutu spent time with PAS Giannina, further enhancing his reputation across Europe. Now, as he joins Wanderers, he brings a wealth of experience from the top three tiers of English football and the Bundesliga.
