Danish top-tier side Viborg FF have rejected an offer from a Qatari club for their Gambian striker Alassana Jatta, 24, as ekstrabladet.dk reports.
Viborg turned down the proposal as they seem to be asking for more โ at least around the cheque of 3 million Danish Krone (โฌ400k) from the Qataris.
Earlier in June, the player whose current market value is at โฌ400k, received interest from Swedish clubs Mjallby and Djurgรฅrdens IF, and even within Denmark from Aalborg BK but only Mjallby made an offer of 2.5 million DKK (โฌ200k) which also got rejected.
Jattaโs contract with Viborg will expire in the summer of 2024 and both parties want to look for a transfer now, if not, a free move will be sealed by January next year, as first called Esktrabladet.
