Danish top-tier side Viborg FF have rejected an offer from a Qatari club for their Gambian striker Alassana Jatta, 24, as ekstrabladet.dk reports.
Viborg turned down the proposal as they seem to be asking for more — at least around the cheque of 3 million Danish Krone (€400k) from the Qataris.
Earlier in June, the player whose current market value is at €400k, received interest from Swedish clubs Mjallby and Djurgårdens IF, and even within Denmark from Aalborg BK but only Mjallby made an offer of 2.5 million DKK (€200k) which also got rejected.
Jatta’s contract with Viborg will expire in the summer of 2024 and both parties want to look for a transfer now, if not, a free move will be sealed by January next year, as first called Esktrabladet.
