Arsenal’s midfielder, Thomas Partey, has put to bed the swirling rumors of a potential exit from the club, affirming his contentment with life at the Emirates Stadium, Pulse Ghana reports.
The Black Stars deputy captain, aged 30, finds himself at the center of speculation due to the approaching final year of his contract with Arsenal, sparking debates over his future with the Premier League giants. According to Transfermarkt the player’s current market value is estimated at €20 million.
Despite the uncertain cloud hanging over his continued association with Arsenal beyond the current season, Partey has expressed a clear desire to prolong his tenure at the club, signaling his intentions to remain a Gunner.
“This is where I choose to play, I’m really happy every time I’m on the field. I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I’m really happy to be here and to continue playing for this club,” Partey conveyed in a discussion with Football.london.
The Ghanaian’s journey with Arsenal has recently been marred by injury challenges, sidelining him for an extensive seven months and significantly diminishing his impact on the team’s performance.
