Following rumors surrounding Chipolopolo defender Tandi Mwape’s future in the past week, The Nerve Africa has established that the South African side SuperSport United is close to signing him.
The Zambian international was reported to have already left the country for South Africa ahead of the move.
The Nerve Africa sources have disclosed that Mwape is expected to sign a one-year deal with the DSTV Premiership side. Though the financial details of the deal have been undisclosed, Transfermarkt values the player at €75,000.
The 27-year-old could now leave Zesco United after spending half a season at the Ndola-based club in the Zambian Super League, having joined from DR Congo’s TP Mazembe.
