Gambian youngster Lamin Sillah has joined Greek champions Olympiacos over English Premier League club Nottingham Forest, as per The Nerve Africa sources in the playerβs agency SPOCS.Β
Sillah was supposed to sign a four-year deal with Forest, but the deal collapsed due to work permit issues.
The striker has now started his professional journey with the Olympiacos U-19 before joining the senior team. Sillah’s deal decision revealed through The Nerve Africa source, who stated:
“Yes, Lamin’s deal is a done deal from Steve Biko on a 4-year deal; he should’ve signed for Forest in English but had no caps, and it will be difficult to have his work permit, so he signed for Olympiacos instead while in England.”
Sillah, who has just kicked off his professional football adventure is yet to have a market value as per Transfermarkt.
