Gambia U20 striker Ebrima Singhateh is set to rejoin his club, Slavia Praha, following an impressive loan stint with the Czech second-tier side FC Sellier & Bellot VlaΕ‘im, as The Nerve Africa reports.Β
Singhateh, who made a temporary move to VlaΕ‘im in September 2023, showcased outstanding form by scoring 8 goals in 14 matches, securing his position as the top scorer for the club.
The former Real de Banjul FC striker initially surprised football enthusiasts with his move to Slavia Praha from the Estonian top-flight club Paide Linnameeskond for an undisclosed fee in 2022. Singhateh gained valuable experience with the Slavia B-team before opting for a more prominent role in VlaΕ‘im.
Having played a crucial role as one of the dependable strikers for the Gambia youth team in the 2023 AFCON and World Cup in Egypt and Argentina, Singhateh managed to find the net on one occasion. With his market value now reaching β¬350,000 according to Transfermarkt, his return to Slavia Praha marks an exciting development for both the player and the club.
