Zambian striker Patson Daka’s agent, Frédéric Kanouté, has hinted at the player’s future with Leicester City, The Nerve Africa reports.
Kanouté, who is currently in Lusaka touring Kafue Celtics in a consultancy role, revealed that discussions about a possible transfer for Daka this summer have yet to begin.
The former Mali international mentioned that Leicester City’s promotion to the Premier League could present a good opportunity for Daka to remain with the team. However, he stated that his client is open to considering other offers.
“Leicester is returning to the EPL, so it could be a good opportunity for him to stay,” Kanouté said.
He continued, “But if other opportunities arise, those could be good for him too. Perhaps he will find more chances to shine with another club. However, all these matters will need to be discussed at a slightly later stage.”
