Gambian International Musa Barrow is close to joining a Saudi Arabian Pro League club Al-Taawoun from Bologna FC, according to The Nerve Africa exclusive.
The 24-year-old is set to sign a three-year contract with the Saudi club that will keep him at the club until 2026.
A few days ago, The Nerve Africa reported an exclusive about the same player receiving a lucrative offer from an unnamed Saudi club. However, if this turns out to be the same deal, then the Gambian number 10 has something to smile.
Musa was left out of Bologna’s first two matches of the new league season without any reported injury after recovering from a minor knock days before the opener.
Barrow has a market value of €11 million which Bologna never wants to lower with a contract that would expire in June 2025. Barrow will likely join his compatriots Assan Njie and Muhammed Badamosi in the SPL soon if Al-Taawon can meet Bologna’s demand.
