Sources in Turkey are reporting that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, will sign a deal with Manchester United this summer.
Serdar Ali Γelikler from VOLE claims that Osimhen has agreed to the move and settled on terms. The only outstanding issue is reaching an agreement with Napoli, who own the playerβs rights.
Journalist AygΓΌn Γzipek reports the terms of the future contract as 5 years, and the transfer fee as Β£60 million. Osimhenβs salary will be Β£12.8 million per year.
Ahmet KonanΓ§, who reported on Anthony Martialβs negotiations with Turkish clubs, is also confident in the Nigerian forwardβs move to Ruben Amorimβs team.
Victor Osimhen: Whatβs Next?
This season, Osimhen has played 25 matches for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig and scored 21 goals. The forwardβs current transfer value is β¬70 million. At his peak, the striker was valued at β¬120 million in 2023.
His current loan agreement with Galatasaray runs until June 30, 2025, and his contract with Napoli is valid until June 30, 2026.
If he signs a contract with Manchester United, Osimhen could become a key figure in the rebuilding of the team, which Ruben Amorim mentioned in a recent interview after reaching the Europa League semi-finals. Itβs also worth noting that Arsenal had previously shown interest in the striker.
