Zambian midfielder is on the lookout for a new club following his loan spell in Belgium with the relegation-threatened Kortrijk, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
Kangwa, who has appeared in seven games and provided one assist in the Belgian league, has yet to find the net. His Serbian parent club, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, is open to entertaining offers for the 25-year-old.
Last year, Kangwa was at the center of transfer speculation. He revealed to Nerve Africa that Red Star had received several offers for him but declined them, demanding a higher transfer fee.
The player was subsequently loaned out to Belgium until June. However, it is understood that he is reluctant to return to Serbia due to stiff competition in his position.
“It’s going to be a busy transfer window for Kangwa. We are certain he doesn’t want to stay at Kortrijk because they are likely facing relegation, and he is also unsure about returning to Serbia,” a source close to the player disclosed.
“There have already been discussions, and Red Star is ready to consider any reasonable offers. Let’s see how it unfolds, and we will learn more soon,” added the source.
Kangwa has participated in seven games for Kortrijk so far, recording just one assist and no goals.
