Massively talented midfield prodigy Timothy Noor Ouma has attracted attention from Scottish Premier League outfit Hearts of Midlothian, sources from The Nerve Africa have exclusively learned.Β
Ouma, who plays for Swedish side IF Elfsborg, could move to Scotland in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a revelation by a member of his agency, Atotos Sports Management.
“Timothy is happy at Elfsborg after getting minutes in recent matches, but we are looking for what’s best for his talent. There have been talks with Hearts in Scotland, and if everything goes to plan, who knows, anything can happen,” the source disclosed, preferring anonymity.
Ouma is currently in his third season at Elfsborg, having joined them in August 2022 from Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi City FC. While he endured a tough spell breaking into the senior team, he has managed to feature in his side’s last four games. This season, he has played in seven of Elfsborg’s 11 Swedish league matches, having played only five in the previous two campaigns combined. Elfsborg sit seventh on the 16-team table with 16 points.
At the national level, the 19-year-old was part of Kenya’s U-20 setup for the Malawi Four Nations tournament this year. He has also earned five senior team (Harambee Stars) caps, including two 2026 World Cup qualification games.
