Kenyan international Abud Omar is on the verge of joining Egyptian Premier League side ENPPI from Kenyan top-flight outfit Kenya Police FC, The Nerve Africa has exclusively learned.
The defender will move to the Egyptian club on loan after the Kenya Premier League season concludes in January. Omar’s contract with Kenya Police FC is set to expire in January 2024, allowing him to sign with ENPPI as a free agent.
According to sources close to his representatives, Oberta, Omar has already agreed to a two-year contract with ENPPI, which will commence when his current deal expires during the forthcoming winter transfer window.

Omar leaves Kenya Police FC after six appearances this season, during which he scored one goal and provided four assists. Since joining the team in 2022, he has made 94 appearances, scoring 11 goals and contributing 18 assists overall.
The defender previously played for AE Larisa in the Egyptian Second Division. He also had stints with Ionikos Nikaias in Greece, Sospi Nikeas, Sepsi OSK in Romania, and Belgian top-tier side Cercle Brugge. In Kenya, Omar has featured for Bandari FC and Thika United in the Kenya Premier League.
On the international stage, since making his debut in 2013, Omar has earned 44 caps for the Kenyan national senior team, the Harambee Stars.
