Gambia U20 star midfielder Kajally Drammeh is close to joining Future FC in the Egyptian Premier League on loan from DStv Premiership side Cape Town City FC, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
The 19-year-old joined the South African outfit in 2021 from Gambian giants Real de Banjul FC and went on to make 20 appearances for the Citizens with a single goal.
Kajally has been one of the key players in the Gambia U20 team since making his debut in 2021. He was part of the squad that finished as runners-up in the U20 AFCON earlier this year before playing the Youth World Cup in Argentina in May 2023.
The deadly and tricky left-footed has a game to revive after struggling for minutes in the Cape Town team and this loan move seems to be his moment. Transfermarkt estimates Drammeh’s current market value at €250,000.
