Kabala, who joined Nkana FC just six months ago, had signed a two-year contract with the struggling team, currently battling in the relegation zone of the Zambian Super League.
Reliable sources within Nkana have confirmed to The Nerve Africa that Kabala is set to be in Switzerland next week to explore the possibility of a permanent move to FC Basel. The player has already left Zambia and is currently in the Democratic Republic of Congo, making preparations to fly to Switzerland for trials with FC Basel.
A source close to the situation stated, “He has left the country and is currently in DR Congo preparing to fly to Switzerland, where he will attend trials at FC Basel. It appears likely that he will secure a deal and might not return to Nkana.”
