Zambian-born Swedish striker Jack Kalichi Lahne is set to stay with French Ligue 2 club Amiens SC, according to The Nerve Africa sources. After recovering from a significant injury and completing loan spells, Lahne is poised for a complete season in France.
Insiders speaking to The Nerve Africa have highlighted the club’s satisfaction with Lahne’s development. Coach Omar Daf, in particular, has expressed interest in further observing Lahne’s capabilities, noting that the striker embodies the qualities he seeks in attackers.
Lahne, who has recently declared his intention to play for Zambia’s national team, the Chipolopolo Boys, marked his first Ligue 2 start this season with a goal against Bordeaux, securing a 1-1 draw at the Stade de la Licorne. So far, he has participated in six games, contributing a goal and an assist.
“The outlook is promising. Having just returned from an injury, and with the coach’s approval, it’s unlikely he will be loaned out again. The situation appears very positive,” a source close to the player mentioned.
Nevertheless, Lahne remains open to opportunities that may arise from clubs in France or Sweden. According to Transfermarkt his current market value is estimated at β¬275,000. He is keen on securing more playing time to bolster his chances of being called up to the Zambia national team.
