Gambian midfielder Lamarana Jallow exclusively spoke to The Nerve Africa after he had officially joined Greek Super League side Levadiaikos FC from Elite United.
The 22-year-old, who has already made a name for himself on the international stage with Gambia, is eager to make an impact in Greece. Earlier it was officially announced that he signed a deal with Levadiaikos that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Speaking exclusively to The Nerve Africa after his arrival and unveiling, Jallow expressed his excitement about the new chapter in his career:
“I feel great and motivated to push myself more because the club is trying to help me get to where I want to be at the highest level,” he said. “So far, it’s been good playing games. This is what I love to do, and I enjoy it. It’s helping me improve tactically, physically, and mentally. Right now, I feel stronger with every game.”
Jallow’s dynamic presence in midfield, coupled with his international experience, is expected to provide a significant boost to Levadiaikos as they pursue their goals in the coming seasons. The club, known for nurturing young talent, is optimistic that Jallow will play a key role in their long-term strategy.
