Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga is hopeful of securing Swedish top-flight football with his new club, Kalmar FF, after completing a transfer in late January.
The right winger signed a one-year deal with the club, leaving Norwegian side Aalesund shortly after returning from a loan spell with Finnish first-tier side Ilves Tampere. He’s currently worth β¬300,000 according to Transfermarkt.
Formerly with the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, Atanga aims to make an impact at his new club.
“Amazing feeling after joining Kalmar FF. Everyone at the club has been good to me and made me feel welcome,” Atanga said in an exclusive interview with The Nerve Africa.
“Iβm hoping to help them with my ability to get back to the Allsvenskan and achieve great things with this great club,” the 24-year-old added.
Atanga primarily plays as a right winger, but his versatility makes him a valuable option across the frontline.
