Finnish giants HJK Helsinki are set to complete the signing of highly-rated Nigerian striker David Olorunfemi, according to Footy-Africa.
The young forward, who developed at Triple 44 Academy, has already travelled to Finland to finalise the move ahead of joining the Veikkausliiga side.
Sources close to the deal have indicated that Olorunfemi successfully completed his medical examination, with an official announcement from HJK expected soon.
The Nigerian youngster has been regarded as one of the country’s most promising grassroots talents in recent years.
Olorunfemi was previously close to securing a move to Swedish club IF Elfsborg last year, although the transfer failed to materialise because of work permit complications.
He is known for his movement inside the penalty area and ability to combine with teammates in attack, as well as finishing ability and link-up play.
