Gambian lethal striker Abdoulie Gassama is set to join Algerian top-tier club MC Alger from Senegalese side Casa Sports, thenerveafrica.com sources say.
Gassama, who finished as the top scorer of the Senegalese Ligue 1 last season with 12 goals has reportedly signed with the Algiers awaiting official announcement soon.
Gassama spent three seasons in Senegal with the Zinguinchor-based club winning the league title once and two FA Cup trophies during his stay.
The 20-year-old striker is now set for a new challenge in the Northern part of Africa, and this could be the moment to reach a higher stage of his career.
