Young Gambian versatile midfielder Musa Jatta is close to joining Slovakian first-tier side FK Zeleziarne Podrezova from the second-division club FK Pohronie, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
Jatta joined Pohronie on loan from the newly promoted Gambian top-flight club BST Galaxy FC in 2023, a club owned by Gambian International and former Swedish giants Hammarby IF striker Bubacarr Trawally.
He had a bright start to his temporary move, which had an option to buy. Musa started 13 times out of the 14 matches he played for Pohronie in the first half of the season with an average of 81 minutes per match.
The 19-year-old was highly tipped to receive a call-up to the Scorpions squad recently due to his impressive performance in his first season in Slovakia. This, however, is now propelling him a step forward in the top tier with PodrezovΓ‘, who are fighting for a European place.
As he makes this move, Musa will do his best to increase his existing market value of β¬75,000.
