Gambian football talent Foday Trawally is on the brink of finalizing a permanent transfer to Turkish second-division outfit Tuzlaspor, departing Estonian club Paide Linnameeskond, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
The 22-year-old, sibling to Gambian International and former Hammarby Fodbol striker Bubacarr Trawally, embarked on his football journey outside The Gambia in 2019. He notably plied his trade for Vejle Boldklub U19 in Denmark before securing a permanent deal with Paide Linnameeskond from Gambian club Fortune FC.
Trawally’s tenure in Estonia saw him spend two loan spells with Talinna Kalev during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons. His recent campaign culminated with an impressive record of bagging the most goals off the bench (8) in the Estonian Meistrilliga.
With a market value estimated at €175,000 according to Transfermarkt metrics, Trawally’s contract with Paide is scheduled to expire in June 2024. The attacking midfielder’s impending move to Tuzlaspor signifies a new chapter in his burgeoning career, offering him an opportunity to showcase his skills in the competitive Turkish football landscape.
