The Eastern Germany club has strengthened its squad by signing Gambian-German midfielder Klaus Sima Suso on loan from Fortuna Düsseldorf until the end of the season, as per the Hansa’s official website.
The 19-year-old, standing at 1.90 meters, is known for his versatility, able to play both in defense and as a defensive midfielder. According to Transfermarkt the player’s current value is estimated at €350,000.
Suso has featured in four 2. Bundesliga matches and a DFB-Pokal game for Fortuna Düsseldorf, while also excelling for their reserve team this season, with two goals and five assists in nine Regionalliga West games. He has also represented Germany at the U19 level, earning seven caps.
Hansa’s Director of Professional Football, Amir Shapourzadeh, praised Suso’s athleticism and pressing intensity, emphasizing that the loan will allow him to gain valuable third-division experience.
