Everton Under-21s have completed the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Francis Gomez from Nigerian club Sporting Supreme, as per the Toffees official website.
The Gambian talent, who has impressed at the Nigerian Abuja-based club, joins the Blues’ Academy as part of their strategy to nurture young talent.
As part of his development plan, Gomez will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at French club Olympique Lyonnais. This move is intended to provide the promising midfielder with valuable experience in a competitive European league, helping him to further hone his skills.
