In a turn of events, the Zambian midfielder has returned to his parent club, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, after spending the remainder of last season on loan in Belgium at Kortrijk.
This comes after initially being put on the market for potential suitors by the Serbian club.
However, The Nerve Africa understands there have been no bids for the 25-year-old midfielder, who appeared in 12 games for Kortrijk and provided two assists without finding the back of the net.
With stiff competition in his position at the Serbian club, he remains open to being sold should a reasonable offer be presented.
Kings Kangwa signed a four-year contract with the Serbian giants in July 2022, which will expire in 2026.
The Zambian midfielder has confirmed through his social media platforms that he is back in Serbia.
He has shared pictures in the Crvena Zvezda jersey during training with the caption, “Back to business. #preseason.”
Last year, Kangwa was at the center of transfer speculation. He revealed to Nerve Africa that Crvena Zvezda had received several offers for him but declined them, demanding a higher transfer fee.
