AS Roma could soon receive an offer from Serie B side US Cremonese for Gambian midfielder Ebrima Darboe, as the club looks to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming season, as per Footy-Africa.
According to sources, Cremonese are preparing a bid in the region of €2 million to land the 23-year-old, who recently completed a solid loan spell at Frosinone. The midfielder impressed with his composure, technical ability, and tactical intelligence in Serie B.
Darboe made 26 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign, contributing two goals and one assist. His consistent performances have sparked interest from several clubs in Italy’s second tier, but Cremonese appear to be leading the race.
Although his current market value is estimated at €1 million, Cremonese are willing to invest more based on his potential and the value he could add to their midfield long term. The proposed offer may include performance-related bonuses or a sell-on clause to sweeten the deal.
