Gambian International top scorer Assan Ceesay has completed his move to Saudi Arabian Pro League side Damac FC from Italian club US Lecce.
The Scorpions striker reportedly signed a three-year deal which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
Assan joined Lecce last summer after winning the Swiss Super League with FC Zürich and signed a two-year contract with the Italian outfit. However, he was linked with a move away from Italy twice this summer, but both deals coming from Saudi clubs failed.
Meanwhile, the third suitor from the same country Damac Club was able to reach an agreement with Lecce two days ago and secured the player’s signature to the much-growing Asian league.
Assan scored 6 goals in 35 appearances for Lecce in all competitions as they fought to avoid relegation last season.
