Gambian young forward Buba Fadika has signed a one-year contract with Georgia Lions SC, according to The Nerve Africa sources.Β
The Lions are a new professional football club in Atlanta, playing in the NISA League of the United States.
Buba’s move to his new club is subject to international clearance from German authorities, where he was previously playing.
The 27-year-old has been without a club since January 2024, after leaving the German Oberliga side BΓΆvinghausen, where he played 13 matches and scored 2 goals, participating in 33% of the minutes.
The former IFK Mora, FC Kray, SW Essen, and Nordvarmland FF player will return to the United States, where he began his early football career.
Currently Transfermakt does not estimate a market value for the player. Also, being a free agent, Fadika could make a free transfer once his international clearance is resolved.
