Gambian International Bubacarr Sanneh has signed for Bosnian Premier League club FK Zvijezda 09 as a free agent as first confirmed by TheNerveAfrica.
The Scorpions defender who was clubless for almost 12 months signed a two-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2025 and will be in charge of the number 30.
Bubaβs long-awaited transfer move is facilitated by a top Gambian football agency Modoustic Sports Agency and PR Company with the collaboration of the club owner and former Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.
Bubacarr formerly played for Belgian giants Anderlecht where his move from Danish side FC Midtjylland made him the most expensive Gambian player after the β¬8 million move. He played in the Champions League and Europa League with the Danish.
Buba also represented other Danish clubs AC Horsens and Aarhus and Turkish Gostepe before lately playing for SonderjyskE Fodboll.
The 28-year-old defender is a regular call in the Scorpions squad since making his debut in 2013. However, he was recently blamed for accepting national team calls without a club in the last few months, but this may not be an excuse for the fans now.
