Gambian midfielder Bakary Jaiteh has signed a one-year contract with Panargeiakos, a newly promoted team in the Greek Super League 2, with an option to extend for a further year, as per the clubβs social media channels.Β
The 24-year-old player, known for his versatility in central midfield and occasional defensive roles, aims to revive his career in Greece as the 2024-25 season is set to begin shortly.
Jaiteh started his football journey with AS Romaβs youth academy, progressing to the clubβs U19 team and competing in Italy’s Primavera Championship. After leaving Roma, he had stints with French club Schiltigheim and Romanian side Pandurii, before most recently playing for FC Wiltz 71 in Luxembourgβs top division.
