Gambian blistering winger Ebrima Colley has signed for Swiss giants BSC Young Boys on a loan deal with an option to buy from his Italian club Atalanta.
Colley will team up with his national teammate Saidy Janko in the same club. The duo will compete in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League after being drawn against Manchester City, RB Leipzig, and Red Star in Group G.
EB has been a regular loan player since his inception into the A-team of Atalanta. He spent the last three seasons in Hellas Verona, Spezia Calcio, and Fatih Karagumruk on a temporary basis before sealing this ultimate move.
The Yellow Submarines hope to trigger the buy option for the player in the summer of 2024, and in doing so, the club have to pay for at least his market value of €3 million.
