French giants Olympique Lyon have reached an agreement with FC Nordsjaelland for the services of Ghana wonderkid Ernest Nuamah, thenerveafrica.com sources have confirmed.
The teenage sensation is expected to arrive in France on Monday to undergo his medical examination after agreeing on personal terms with Lyon.
Nuamah was wanted by top European clubs, including PSG, Dortmund, and Tottenham, but Lyon won the race to land the highly-rated attacker.
Nuamah scored 15 goals and delivered 4 assists in 34 matches across all competitions and capped off an impressive 2022-23 season with three individual awards.
He won the Young Player of the Year, Best Player for Spring (voted by coaches), and the Player of the Season (voted by players) awards.
Nuamah has four goals in four games in the new season, including a hatrick in the opening league game.
Lyon have agreed to sign Nuamah on a permanent contract with Nordsjaelland having a percentage on any future resale.
The 19-year-old is valued at 6 million Euros according to Transfermarkt.
