Interest from South Africa and Europe
A representative from Elite Sports Management, the agency handling Amankonaβs affairs, revealed that talks have begun with several potential suitors. South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, as well as Danish Superliga side Randers FC, are among the clubs monitoring his situation.

During his first stint with the club between 2016 and 2020, Amankona scored 21 goals in 57 games. He later joined Asante Kotoko, where he scored seven goals in 15 appearances over a one-and-a-half-season spell before returning to Berekum Chelsea in 2022.
