Egyptian Pyramid FC has expressed interest in Zambian Super League champions Red Arrows FC’s forward Ricky Banda, according to The Nerve Africa sources.ย
Banda may be tempted to leave Arrows in January after his standout season, where he scored 19 goals and helped the club win both the Super League and the Absa Cup.
According to sources close to the player, Banda is open to a move if a suitable offer comes in, with Pyramid FC eager to sign him.
“Ricky is prepared to leave. If an offer comes in, he will go,” the source told The Nerve Africa. “Pyramid tried to get him from Jumulo last month, but Arrows quickly signed him. Now they have to negotiate with the Airmen, but Ricky is ready to start a new chapter abroad”ย
The striker secured a permanent contract with Arrows last month after a successful three-season loan from Jumulo. Banda is also being monitored by Tanzanian clubs, including Simba SC.
