Leicester City has bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew on a permanent deal from Crystal Palace, as per the Foxesβofficial website.Β
The 32-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the Foxes, having made 212 appearances for the Eagles over six seasons. The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, but according to Transfermarkt the transfer fee estimates at β¬5 million.Β
Ayew, who has represented Ghana in two FIFA World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations, expressed his excitement about joining Leicester.Β
“Iβm very happy to be here and proud. The club worked hard to bring me in, and Iβm eager to contribute to the teamβs success,” Ayew said in an interview with LCFC.com.

Starting his career at Marseille, Ayew has also played for Aston Villa and Swansea City in the Premier League, before his successful stint at Crystal Palace where he was named Player of the Season in 2019/20.
