The Serie A club has announced via their official website the signing of Omari Nathan Forson, the talanted young Ghanaian-English winger, who has committed to the club until June 30, 2028.
Born in London on July 20, 2004, Forson made a significant move to Manchester United at the age of 14, where he quickly showcased his talents in the Youth Academy. His impressive development at United led to his first professional contract with the club in January 2021.
Forson’s rapid ascent continued, and by the summer of 2023, he was integrated into Manchester United’s First Team. He made his official debut in the FA Cup match against Wigan on January 8, 2024, followed by his Premier League debut against Wolverhampton on February 1. By the end of the season, he had accumulated four Premier League appearances and three in the FA Cup.
In addition to his club achievements, Forson holds a Ghanaian passport due to his parents’ heritage and has represented England at various youth levels, amassing 14 caps from Under-15 to Under-20.
Regarded as one of the most promising talents born in 2004 in Europe, Forson is Monza’s first new signing for the 2024/25 season. His arrival marks a significant boost for the club as they prepare for the upcoming challenges.
