St Mirren Football Club has cemented its bond with Elvis Bwomono, extending his contract until the summer of 2025, as per clubβs official website.Β
Bwomono, the Ugandan international, initially joined the Saints on a short-term deal in December 2023, and his impactful performance on the field prompted the club to exercise its option to prolong his stay in Paisley.

Since his arrival, Bwomono has made 13 appearances, showcasing his talent and dedication to the team. His journey to St Mirren followed stints at Southend United, where he amassed 132 appearances, and Icelandic club ΓBV, where he played 48 times.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Bwomono stated:
“I’m delighted to be staying for another year. Since I came to the club in December, everyone has made me feel really welcome and a real part of it, so I’m happy to be staying here. It’s probably the most enjoyable time I’ve had in football both on and off the park.”
