Wankulukuku-based club, Express FC, is on the verge of securing a notable signing in the form of former Vipers SC striker Karim Ndugwa during the current transfer window, according to Swift Sports.
The player is currently a free agent after parting ways with Vipers SC at the conclusion of the previous season. Reliable sources have confirmed that negotiations between Ndugwa and Express FC are in advanced stages, with both parties edging closer to reaching a favorable compromise. If the deal comes to fruition, Ndugwa will make a return to the Express FC squad, a team he previously represented.
Furthermore, the reunion would see Ndugwa working under the guidance of head coach Alex Isabirye once again. The striker enjoyed a successful spell with Vipers SC last season, securing a Cup double under the stewardship of Isabirye.
Karim Ndugwa boasts an extensive football career, having played for various clubs across different leagues. His resume includes stints with SC Villa, URA FC, Express FC (first stint), AFC Leopards in Kenya, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, Horseed in Somalia, Onduparaka, and Victors, among others.
Express FC supporters eagerly await the official announcement of the potential signing, as Ndugwa’s experience and goal-scoring prowess could significantly bolster the team’s attacking options in the upcoming season.
