Zambia’s national team winger, Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, is being sought after by a number of clubs on the continent and in Europe, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
South Africaβs Sekhukhune United is said to be leading the race and could beat everyone else to sign the 27-year-old, who has been in top form in the Zambian Super League.
βSekhukhune is set to table an offer to sign him once the January transfer window opens,β a source close to the player told The Nerve Africa.
Kampamba is among the 55 shortlisted players in the provisional squad for Zambia ahead of next yearβs Africa Cup of Nations.
He is currently leading Zambia’s Super League and is Zesco Unitedβs top goal scorer, with seven goals and eight assists in 13 matches.
Kampamba has been a regular inclusion in the Zambian national team since the arrival of former Chelsea manager Avram Grant, who helped Zambia qualify for the AFCON for the first time since 2015.
