Zambian midfielder Songa Chipyoka has joined Hapoel Petah Tikva on loan, with the option to buy from Zesco United, as per the Israeli clubโs official website.ย
Following the relegation of Sektzia Ness Ziona, where he enjoyed a fruitful loan spell and contributed four assists and nine goals last season, the Zambia U-20 international has now transferred to Hapoel.
Zesco United approved his new loan deal and are happy for him to explore new opportunities.
โWe are pleased to announce that winger Chipyoka Songa has signed with the club on a one-season loan with an option to purchase at the end of the season. The player is in Israel and is currently undergoing his first training session in the blue uniform,โ Hapoel announced in a statement.
Valued at โฌ300,000 by Transfermarkt, Chipyoka is happy to join the club and has promised to help them regain their premier league status.
“I’m excited to join a big club like Hapoel Petah Tikva,” said Songa after signing. “I aim to improve and progress this season and to help the team meet its goal of returning to the Premier League.”
