Danish club OB Odense has formally confirmed the acquisition of Real De Banjul defender Yaya Bojang on a long-term three-year deal.
Yaya Bojang, the talented central defender who initially joined OB on loan from Real De Banjul, has now solidified his commitment to the club until the summer of 2027.
OB Odense released an official statement, stating,Β
“We have opted to exercise the purchase option outlined in the loan agreement for Yaya Bojang. This decision ensures that the 19-year-old Gambian talent will make a permanent switch from Real De Banjul FC to OB, with a contract extending until the summer of 2027.”
Effective immediately, Yaya Bojang will be promoted from the U19 team to the OB A-team. Having made a significant impact in the U19 squad, the central defender is poised to bring his defensive prowess to the forefront of the first team, showcasing his exceptional 1v1 skills.Β
