Gambian striker Lamin Sarr is on the verge of making a significant move to Hungarian Merkantil Bank Liga club Szeged-Csanád Grosics Akadémia from Gambia Football Federation first division league club BST Galaxy FC, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
Sources close to the negotiations have confirmed to The Nerve Africa that Sarr has reached an agreement with Szeged to join them on a permanent deal. The deal, said to be in an advanced stage, is nearing completion.
Sarr’s impressive performances leading the line for BST Galaxy have caught the attention of Szeged, who are looking to enlist him as a replacement to spearhead their attack in their pursuit of promotion to the top tier.
While the negotiations are nearing completion and the exact transfer fee has yet to be disclosed, it is notable that Sarr currently does not have a market value listed on Transfermarkt.
Despite Szeged currently lagging 8 and 13 points behind the promotion spots, fans remain optimistic that Sarr’s addition will rejuvenate the team’s fighting spirit and enhance their chances of securing promotion.
