Obiri Yeboah, the CEO of Ghanaian club Accra Lions, believes that midfielder Rahim Ibrahim can make an impact at his new club, Slovan Bratislava.
Ibrahim, 23, first moved from Accra Lions to Slovakian club AS TrenΔΓn in 2020. After four seasons, he signed a four-year deal with Slovan Bratislava. His current market value stands at β¬450,000, according to Transfermarkt.
Slovan Bratislava competed in the UEFA Champions League this season but exited in the group stage.
βFor us, we are excited about Rahimβs move. It brings us great joy that he came through our production line. His career started well but stalled slightly due to injury,β Obiri Yeboah said in an exclusive interview with The Nerve Africa.
Yeboah hopes that Ibrahim will make the most of this opportunity.
βI hope this move propels him to a bigger stage so people can see his qualitiesβdetermination and hard work. A lot is expected of him now. He needs to seize this opportunity, and I believe he can succeed at this level.β
Ibrahim previously represented Ghanaβs U20 national team, the Black Satellites.
