AC Oulu has confirmed that defender Musa Jatta has signed a two-year deal with the club, with an option for an additional two seasons.
The Gambian player initially joined Oulu on loan from FK Pohronie during the summer transfer window. After impressing in his brief appearances, the club exercised its purchase option to secure his services.
“I’m grateful to be part of this great club and excited to stay here. I look forward to giving my all and helping the team achieve its goals next season,” Jatta said.
Despite an eventful start—including a red card in his debut and an injury requiring hospitalization—Jatta’s talent earned praise from fans and coaches.
“Musa showed his potential in the autumn. Although setbacks delayed his progress, he’s fully recovered and will join training next Monday. We’re thrilled to have him permanently,” said Sports Director Markus Heikkinen.
Jatta is now set to be a key figure for AC Oulu in the coming seasons.
