The Reds are reportedly monitoring West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires next summer, as per Team Talk.
Kudus, 23, joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for approximately €44 million. The Ghanaian forward has made a significant impact, scoring 16 goals across all competitions, including 10 in the Premier League. His dynamic performances have caught Liverpool’s attention as they plan for the future.

Several reports indicate that both Liverpool and Arsenal are closely monitoring Kudus, who reportedly feels he may not fully realize his potential at West Ham. However, any transfer would require suitors to meet his €99 million release clause—a price Liverpool might find challenging to justify in the January window.
In addition to Kudus, Liverpool are exploring alternative options, including Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo. Both players are considered more affordable, with valuations ranging between €47 million and €59 million. Mbeumo, in particular, has been a standout performer this season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 11 Premier League matches.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has praised Salah’s influence and expressed hope that the forward will remain at Anfield. However, the club is proactively preparing for all scenarios to maintain their attacking prowess.
