Zambian midfielder Kings Kangwa has joined Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Be’er Sheva Football Club from Crvena Zvezda Belgrade on a four-year deal, which according to The Nerve Africa, is worth €800,000.
The midfielder spent the last six months on loan at Belgian top-flight side KV Kortrijk. The Belgian club was ready to sign the Zambian on a permanent basis, but at that time the Serbian giants asked for €1,5 million, what was turned down by the Belgians.
Now Kangwa returns to Hapoel after playing in the club’s youth team during the 2017–2018 season, where he scored nine goals in all competitions before moving to Russian side Arsenal Tula.
The Nerve Africa sources close to the player have revealed that Crvena Zvezda agreed to the transfer fee of €800,000 and also that Kangwa turned down several offers to join the Israeli club including from Russian second-tier side Ural, who offered a three-year contract.
